Wow! I can’t believe we are almost halfway through the month of October already. This year, despite all of the craziness, is just flying by.

Shopping can take a lot of you! Which made me want to stop, rest and reflect for moment. No one says it better about taking a bit of “me” time than the iconic Ferris Bueller – ‘Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it’.

I think this can apply to our Second Lives as well as our first. It’s all about maintaining perspective and keeping things in balance.

After sifting through some of my Out Shop Cancer shopping haul so far, I decided to take a break – and where better than to slow down than at home?

Now some of you may know, my partner and I call a houseboat on Bellisaria home, and this comfy Wayfarer’s Sofa from Amelia’s Coastal Treasures fits perfectly in our living room area.
